In a strategic move to solidify its position among the top European digital service providers in the automotive industry, EAG Group has acquired JBR Rogowiec, Poland’s second-largest Dealer Management Systems (DMS) provider. This acquisition is the first of several planned expansions following EAG’s successful EUR 100 million investment round earlier this year, aimed at accelerating Omnetic's growth.
The acquisition of JBR Rogowiec aligns with Omnetic’s strategic vision to strengthen its market leadership in automotive digitalization. Omnetic aims to drive both organic growth and further expansion through acquisitions in Central and Western Europe.
With JBR Rogowiec’s integration, Omnetic’s B2B customer base will surpass 7,000. This extensive customer network includes prominent retail chains such as Stellantis Group, BMW, Hyundai-KIA, Jaguar-Land Rover, Nissan-Mitsubishi, Honda, and Mazda in Poland. The acquisition also bolsters Omnetic’s presence in the Agro (John Deere) and Trucks (DAF, Iveco, MAN) sectors, while opening new opportunities with Chinese automotive brands like BAIC, BYD Trucks, and MG.
Current JBR customers will gain access to Omnetic’s expansive product portfolio, featuring Cebia, a leader in vehicle verification, security, and identification in Central and Eastern Europe, and Fastback, an online B2B platform for trading used cars. Omnetic’s CEO, Jakub Šulta, highlighted, “The acquisition of JBR fits perfectly into our Buy & Build strategy, allowing us to leverage synergies and provide more robust systems for our customers.”
JBR Rogowiec, founded and led by Janusz Rogowiec and his sons Bartosz and Radoslaw, will continue under the leadership of Bartosz and Radoslaw, who will remain on the board. Bartosz Rogowiec remarked, “The digitalization of automotive processes is crucial, and this acquisition will help us better meet customer demands, enhance our product portfolio, and drive growth.”
This acquisition marks a significant milestone following a successful funding round led by the pan-European private fund Kartesia and the Polish asset manager CVI, securing EUR 100 million. Giuseppe Mirante, a principal advisor at Kartesia, expressed support for Omnetic’s growth strategy, stating, “We are excited to support Omnetic in its acquisition of JBR Rogowiec and look forward to assisting in their dynamic buy & build strategy.”
