CLAAS has achieved significant recognition with its new XERION 12 series tractors, winning three major awards: Tractor of the Year 2024, Farm Machine 2024 (large tractor category), and the AE50 Award by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ASABE). These awards highlight the innovative features and superior performance of the XERION 12 series, including its low-engine-speed concept 2.0 and CMATIC continuously variable transmission. The series, comprising the 12.590 and 12.650 models, demonstrates enhanced efficiency, productivity, and durability, and is targeted for markets in North America, Europe, Australia, and South America.
Johannes Weisbrodt, Senior Vice President Product Unit System Tractor, expressed pride in the team’s efforts, noting that the awards validate the innovative approach and hard work invested in the XERION series. The official presentation of the AE50 Award will take place at the ASABE Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, from February 11-14, 2024.
