CLAAS has announced that its new XERION 12 series tractors have won three major awards: Tractor of the Year 2024, Farm Machine 2024 (large tractor category), and the AE50 Award in the USA. The AE50 Award, given by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ASABE), highlights the top 50 innovative agricultural products.
The XERION 12 series, launched in summer 2023, is recognized for its advanced features, including the low-engine-speed concept 2.0, CMATIC continuously variable transmission, and robust hydraulic systems. These innovations enhance efficiency, productivity, and comfort for farmers. The tractors have undergone extensive testing on North American and European farms, demonstrating superior performance and durability.
Johannes Weisbrodt, Senior Vice President Product Unit System Tractor, expressed pride in the development team, stating that these awards confirm the innovative approach and hard work invested in the XERION series. The XERION 12 series, including the 12.590 and 12.650 models, is available in TERRA TRAC and TRAC wheel variants, targeting markets in North America, Europe, Australia, and South America.
The awards will be officially presented at the ASABE Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, from February 11-14, 2024.
